Villa Del Mar (Formerly known as Breathless) is a stunning five-bedroom home on the best street on Captiva Island! Located five houses from the world-famous stunning white beaches of Captiva Island but also in the heart of Captiva Village. This home and location are the best of both worlds! Hidden behind the double wood doors is an amazing courtyard with a large, heated pool, a hot tub, pool games, and multiple lounge chairs.

Walking into the home on this first level means walking into a large game room with a ping pong table, flat-screened TV, and foosball. The theater room with a large pit couch that can be made into an extra queen bed is also on this level, as well as a large bedroom with two queen beds, a flat screen television, and a bathroom.

The main level of the home has a huge kitchen with custom cabinets, top-of-the-line appliances, and granite counters. The open living room features two loveseats and one couch, built-ins, and a flat-screen television. The open dining has seating for eight with additional seating for eight at the breakfast bar and breakfast nook. This floor also features a desk, half bath, and laundry room. Also on this level are additional balconies and walkways leading to the separate bedroom suite with a microwave, wet bar, small fridge, and coffee maker. This area has a king bed, flat screen television, and an attached bathroom with shower/tub combination.

The third floor features the stunning master bedroom suite with a king bed, tropical furnishings, wet bar, coffee maker, balcony, and attached master bathroom with jet tub and separate shower. There are two additional bedrooms on this floor. The first has a king bed, a flat-screen television, and an attached bathroom featuring a shower/tub combo. The other bedroom features two twin beds, a flat-screen television, and an attached bathroom with a shower.

The two-car garage has all the beach chairs, toys, and beach carts to easily take items to the beach. It is within walking distance to everything! Restaurants, the beach, shopping, live music, marinas, and water sports.

"We had an awesome stay at Villa Del Mar. Our family of 14 had a wonderful, memorable Thanksgiving week. The house is very comfortable, clean and spacious. We hung out at the pool /hot tub, walked steps to the beach, and enjoyed ping pong games at the end of the day. We rented pontoon boats from Jensens , spent the day on the water, and explored the little islands around Captiva.

"The house was absolutely beautiful! It accommodated our family perfectly! We loved being in downtown Captiva, where we could walk to the beach, stores and restaurants. We were very comfortable and everything was very clean. We felt right at home!

"We live in Florida but never have been to Captiva. We decided that on our 50th wedding anniversary we would splurge and take the family to Captiva to celebrate. Additional hurricane repairs were not completed on our original choice so we had to change locations. Connor at Kingfisher was beyond helpful. He really tried to find us an alternate place. I need an elevator and he made it happen. With the help of the gracious owners we got into Villa Del Mar. The property is absolutely amazing. So many extras at this house, ping ping, pool and beach toys, fantastic kitchen with everything you need, and our bed was the best I have ever slept on…even the pillow. It’s close to everything. We had a bit of setback with the rain from tropical storm Debby and a power outage for a few hours but we just had a marvelous time. Definitely will come back. Thank you again to all the Kingfisher staff we spoke with and thank you to the owners.

"Wow! Incredible Home and location that fit my crew of 7 perfectly. The property was clean and had everything you needed without searching for it. The property manager checked in with us right out of the gate and then left us alone but let us know they were only a phone call away and literally two doors down. I highly recommend this property for anyone traveling with a larger group.

"My family of 10 just stayed at Villa Del Mar in January 2024 for 5 nights. I really can not say enough good things about this home. It is lovely! Has a DREAM kitchen set up. They are very well equipped with dishes/utensils even had spices. We were impressed by how well the kitchen was stocked. We were five adult couples. There were 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms - so we all had our own space which was awesome. The pool and hot tub were perfect. The cleanliness of this home is also one of the best we have seen. It is in the perfect spot. Very short walk to the beach/stores/restaurants. I do not have one bad thing to say about this home. I highly recommend it and hopefully we get a chance to come back and stay again!

"Kingfisher vacations provided our family excellent support planning our Captiva Island vacation, post hurricane Ian. Our large family stayed for a week at Villa del Mar. The house was superb with plenty of room for our kids and grand kids, located just a 5 minute walk to the beach. The house was in great shape and the new ACs were able to keep the house cool, despite the extreme heat this summer. Thank you Kingfisher for making this vacation possible and for communicating with us often and with transparency on the repair status of the properties we had selected.

"We had a wonderful stay at Villa Del Mar (formerly Breathless). The home was spacious and accommodated our entire family from old to young. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals and share time together. The staff at Kingfisher was very accommodating and always had prompt and complete answers for our many questions. We were traveling with three small children and a baby. Everyone remarked at how private all of the rooms were and that made it easy for baby naps and great sleeping even when others were enjoying time together late into the evening. The location was absolutely perfect as we could easily walk to the beach in the morning and back to the house when the little people needed a break. Every day someone walked to Starbucks, to get ice cream, a drink at Mucky Duck, visit a couple of restaurants or check on the manatees. The location of The Island Store at the end of the block was perfect. They had everything we needed that we didn't get at Jerry's on Sanibel. The islands are recovering and the beauty of this destination is still there!
