First vacation as a couple

"We stayed here for our first vacation as a couple and it was great! The area was awesome, just minutes from the white sandy beaches of Captiva. It was also extremely walkable to all restaurants on the island. We were able to make meals in the kitchen, and the outdoor space was a great way to unwind at the end of the day.

Lovingly Equipped

"Very nicely located house, neat and tastefully furnished, very well and lovingly equipped. 5 min walk from the beach. Various restaurants (especially recommended the restaurant The Green Flash) and coffee shops within walking distance as well as a nicely equipped mini market (The Island Store). High-quality bed linens and towels. Very complete kitchen equipment. The house is large enough to get out of the way, has 3 beautiful good usable terraces, 2 of which are provided with a mosquito screen. It really can accommodate up to 8 guests. The only small criticism is to rate the somewhat noisy air conditioning from time to time, as well as the fact that it is recommended not to put it under 75 F, otherwise it could be required. For non Captiva initiates, the arrival is comparatively long, but if you are there, you don't want to leave again!!! We were completely satisfied and plan to come back again!

Tree House

"We loved the 'tree house' feel of the house. Property is lush and very well-kept. The rooms were inviting, bright and cozy. The kids absolutely loved staying in the loft area and having a space of their own. The proximity to the beach, restaurants and other amenities was so convenient. Cant wait to visit again!

"We loved our time at Just By Chance. It was beautiful and quirky and everything we expected! There was construction happening- otherwise it would have been a quiet location. It was close to the town store and ice cream shop and was so nice to be able to walk everywhere we needed to go. We loved the hammock and utilized it multiple times a day- even though it was hot and humid- it was a great place for granny snuggles in the mornings and before bedtime! We loved all the beach chairs, toys, umbrellas available- so nice to have good quality items available to use. We loved the welcome book and the information to make our stay more enjoyable! Thankfully, my daughter took a picture of the phone number to contact kingfisher because we had to make a call after hours when we got locked out! We would definitely recommend the house to anyone and would definitely come back again! Thank you for helping us make great memories for our family ♥️
